Music and lapel microphones for your ceremony are included in our Wedding DJ service rate, as long as the ceremony is at the same location as the reception. If it is at a different location, a travel fee will apply.
We will work with you before your wedding to come up with a timeline/schedule of events. Introductions, formal dances, speeches/toasts, cake cutting - our DJ will keep things moving and keep your guests engaged.
During cocktail hour, while you and your wedding party are doing formal pictures, we will play a variety of music to entertain your guests while they wait. If the cocktail hour is a the same location as the reception, but in a different room (or outside) there is no additional charge for setting up a separate speaker for cocktail hour.
During dinner, we will play background instrumental music at a reasonable volume so you and your guests can socialize while enjoying amazing food.
Shoe Game? Bouquet and Garter Toss? Dollar Dance? Anniversary Dance? If you want it, our DJ will make it happen.
A good DJ can play a few different types of songs and read the guest reactions, using that to determine what he/she plays the rest of the night. During the planning phase we will ask you for a few songs you would really like to hear, and use that plus reading the crowd to determine what songs to play throughout your reception. We also try to play a variety of types of music, ranging from oldies right up to today's hits, to make sure all guests hear what they want to hear!
We don't limit our wedding DJ service to a certain number of hours. We will work with you and your venue to determine what time the last dance will occur. Have a preference for the last dance of the night? We are happy to play it, or you can let us choose.
